When the world and the characters in your fiction are so believable that they seem real, your reader is primed to accept every fantastical, spooky, or otherworldly event and creature you weave into your story. But how to get the facts we need to enhance our writing without spending months on research? The answer is to go directly to the source.   For her magical realism trilogy, The Secret Spice Cafe, author Patricia V.
