Joanna earned her MFA from Chapman University. She has been writing about video games since 2015 and is currently a staff writer at PC Gamer, where she mostly writes about computer hardware, The Sims 4, and Vampire: The Masquerade. (You can find her reviews in Maximum PC, as well.) She also teaches creative writing at the Orange County School of the Arts on a variety of subjects: Game Writing, Interactive Fiction, World Building, Mystery Writing, Urban Myths and Legends—just to name a few. Her poem "Safety Labels on Hospice Beds" was recently published in the HWA Poetry Showcase Vol. 5.
