Karley Pardue (she/her) is an author and academic of horror. Her most recent obsession has been dissecting shower scenes from every sexy and violent angle. She has a weakness for vampires, nonlinear plots, and monsters as metaphor. Every October, Karley reviews horror films and other media on her blog, Reading Malone. She earned her M.F.A. from the University of Nevada, Reno. Some of her poetry (non-horror) is forthcoming in The Meadow, but most of her work deals with things that go bump in the night.
